nod) Room is a reflection of the area’s strong Norwegian heritage.
The room features a four-poster pine queen-sized bed with down comforter. The room is decorated with rosemaling and lots of fun items related to Norway’s national costume the bunad. This room has access to the shared second story porch. The attached bath is also decorated with a Scandinavian influence. It features a large shower, unique sink and a vanity. $70/double |
A special feature
of Inn in the Pines is the two story, front porch. Guests in the Bunad and Rolling Hills have entry to the porch from their rooms. The second story porch is decorated with items which continues the feel of the outdoors indoors. The porch looks out over the large 20 pine trees located on the property. Although we are not on the lake, guests can listen to the beautiful sounds of frogs, loons and soothing wind through the pines. |
The Rolling
Hills Room pays homage to the rolling glacial hills of Pope County. |
The Starbuck
Room is decorated with the symbol of Starbuck – a buck deer and
the colors gold and maroon. |
